We
focus on providing ongoing charity to support two very
important Ontario facilities:
-
Sick Kids Foundation
-
O.S.P.C.A.
We
further provide additional support to numerous small
local organizations. In these instances 100% of the
money goes directly to their support, rather than to
different levels of administration and bureaucracy:
-
major sponsor of Canada Day celebration
-
major sponsor of Channel Cats Swim Club
-
various local youth organizations and schools
-
various service clubs
-
Green Haven, Interval House and Chysalis Women's Shelters
-
provide items for "local" charity and fundraising
auctions

Nolan Rainey
(Passed away from cancer)
|
Nolan,
the beautiful son of Sandy and Gene Rainey, lost
his battle with cancer before he was even 3 years
old. This little guy spent the best part of his
life at The Hospital For Sick Children. So did
his Mom and Dad. He loved the pool! He underwent
extensive surgeries and treatments that would
test the strength of any adult, yet he always
had that smile. We cherish his short life and
honour his memory.

Freeman Ross
(Lost to cancer)
|
Freeman's
life, although far too brief with us in life, remains
endless in memories and wonderful moments. He was
accepting of anyone who entered his life with the
utmost devotion and love. Freeman lived his life
to the fullest, always content, even to the very
end. He is sadly missed, but remembered with a wistful
fondness and occasionally a tear, for his strength,
his courage, and of course his unconditional love. |
